About

"Today I was wondering if insane people actually know they are insane or not. Reason is, sometimes I think I am, or going there! But I know it; that's the thing. Or I think I know it...so I worry about that. I mean do you have to NOT think you're insane to be insane? I almost don't want to know the answer to that!"

Picasa for Facebook Sunday, January 04, 2009 |

Every photo that comes off my digital camera I import into Picasa before I do anything else with it, even if it's merely destined to end up on Facebook where I can share it with friends. Picasa Uploader utilizes the new APIs to connect Picasa directly to your Facebook account. To get started, take care of the following first:

  1. Get a Facebook account and make sure you can log in.
  2. Install the latest version of Picasa on your computer.
Now go to the Picasa Uploader page on Facebook and follow the instructions. You'll click on the Install Plugin button, which will launch Picasa with the Configure Buttons dialog open.

Configure Buttons in Picasa

Here you'll want to select the Facebook button on the left and then click the Add >> button in the center to add it to Picasa's button bar. You can then use the Move Up and Move Down buttons to change its position and finally click OK to save your changes. You may have to restart Picasa before you proceed. Once the button is installed, it's easy to use. To send photos from Picasa to Facebook, just select the photos you want and then click on the new Facebook button on the button bar in the lower right. A window will appear where you'll need to log into Facebook in order to give Picasa permission to upload photos to your account.

Now Picasa will prompt you to choose a Facebook album to put the photos in, or create a new one, and then it will upload the photos to Facebook along with any captions you've given them. Once it's finished, there's one more step: A browser window will be launched and you'll be taken to Facebook, where you'll have to "approve" the photos that have been uploaded. This is to prevent malicious applications from uploading photos without your permission. It's as easy as clicking on Select All and Approve.

Once your photos are uploaded, they live on Facebook just like photos you uploaded directly through Facebook's web interface, and you can go through and edit them, tag the people in them, and so on.

Today the day i wasn't me Saturday, January 03, 2009 |

Not that I am behaving like someone else but other people that i don't know thought i was someone else twice today, though i was expecting the third one but sadly it didn't happen.

First of all, i am not really that sure AM Credits is part of the AM Bank or not but one of the malay guy called my house number and starting to talk like my native language is "Bahasa Malaysia" and he might have expect me to follow the speed that he's spitting. First i thought he said his name was "blahblah bukit tiang" or something (malay name) so i replied "uh-huh" and then he continued to explained who he was which i didn't get any of that because my mind was occupied, thought he said he was the freaking "Bukit Tiang" so i said "oh, i am not "Bukit Tiang" and then it started. He kept insisting i am "Bukit Tiang" and the whole situation turn bad in just a second because he started to scold me saying i am denying my identity. Hell if i am denying or there's something to hide don't you think i put down the phone already? Threatening me with police and telling me he could call telekom to check if i am lying.. i mean "CALL THE FREAKING TELEKOM TO CONFIRM FIRST BEFORE YOU CALL THAT PARTICULAR PERSON AND START CALLING THEM A LIAR, GGEZZZZ GOD DAMMIT! ARE YOU FREAKING IDIOT? WHAT A BLOODY IDIOT.. SOUND ME FOR NOTHING". Yes i did told him i am a chinese and he won't believe me so yeah after much the threat he put down the phone and he i am complaining about it because i don't know who that was. Called my house number couldn't heck what number was that unless i head down to the telekom center. Reason for the rant is i can't believe how ignorant a person can get behind the phone.

Secondly, nothing big someone sent his C.V. to my email and it's quite impressive i gotta tell ya. Though i am not an employer.

If there's a chance to meet that person who called me and telling me i am not me but someone else, i've gotta shake his hand or better, i'm gonna make a throphy for being an idiot of the year.

It also features posh and stylish design with hairline treatment on the face, light, slim and easy-to-carry body.

Just came back from the shop with my brand new Olympus FE-360 digital camera. To be honest it is not what i've anticipated but i needed a camera. Soon i am going to be a snappiest s.o.b. :) Regret never bought this earlier as my trip to Hong Kong would be more snappier. Anyhow, my second trip to Hong Kong is near and with this baby i hope i could share my experience travelling around with my blog. I would take a sample snapshot but the battery needed a little pamper so i've tucked it in for an 8 hours hybernation before i work them out nicely.

Screw own hosted blogs with paid web hosting. Reliable is a word they shouldn't put in their company profile.

The first time my blog got shutdown
The company decided to move their data servers which corrupt most of their client's files, mine included. So i gave up..

The second time my blog got shutdown
The company that hosted my various sites decided to go out of business and shut it down without any prior notice. Anger got the best of me, there is no need for an explaination,.

The third time my blog got shutdown
The company who hosted my blog and some various sites decided to upgrade it's server and never come back online ever again.

All the above mentioned are what they claimed "Reliable Web Hoster" in their company profile and due to privacy and all i can't list their company's name but if you really want to know drop me a line.

After all the huffy puffy i went through, now i am back with blogger. Speaking of reliability, nothing beats blogger.

GONE! Monday, October 06, 2008 |

Recently my webhost shutdown without any notice and there goes my paid webhost and along with it my blogs and websites. Think it is more reliable to blog here. Gezzz damn you web host! Now i've gotta start all over.

Microsoft "Genuine Advantage" cracked in 24hours: window.g_sDisableWGACheck='all'

AV sez, "This week, Microsoft started requiring users to verifiy their serial number before using Windows Update. This effort to force users to either buy XP or tell them where you got the illegal copy is called 'Genuine Advantage.' It was cracked within 24 hours."

Before pressing 'Custom' or 'Express' buttons paste this text to the address bar and press enter:

CODE
javascript:void(window.g_sDisableWGACheck='all')

It turns off the trigger for the key check.
